Aptly named after its financial past as a NatWest bank, The Trading Room is a community pub in the centre of Westcliff-on-Sea. This history can also be seen in the opulent architecture of the venue itself and those of the surrounding buildings. Today, The Trading Room is best known for serving guests outstanding food and drink at fantastic prices. Our venue has a warm, friendly atmosphere that’s loved by our customers.
Our menu offers a combination of traditional and modern pub dishes, all freshly prepared in our kitchen, with many customer favourites to try! The fajitas come highly recommended, along with our Sunday lunch, which is more commonly known as “the best roast in Westcliff!”

From London, head along the A13 from Saddlers Farm roundabout in the direction of Thundersley/Southend. Keep on following the A13 through Leigh and Chalkwell to Westcliff, past Halfords and Sainsburys. The pub is on the corner of the next junction, Crowstone Road.
From Southend, head along the A13 towards Westcliff and London. Follow the A13 through Westcliff and past the historic Palace Theatre. The pub is on the corner of the next junction, Crowstone Road.
Westcliff on Sea station on the C2C Fenchurch Street line is a brisk 15 minute walk from the pub. Exit the north side of the station and turn right onto Ditton Court Road - follow this onto Hamlet Court Road. At the junction of Hamlet Court Road and London Road (A13), turn left and continue walking past the historic Palace Theatre. The pub is on the corner of the next major junction with Crowstone Road. Taxis are easily and quickly booked from the station, and buses run frequently along London Road.
