One of Westcliff’s best loved pubs, The newly refurbished Trading Room Bar and Kitchen offers a great selection of real ales and fine whiskies, and an outstanding array of traditional and modern pub food.
Stop press! We are thrilled to announce the revamp of one of Westcliff/Chalkwell's much-loved venues and a sister site to The Peterboat in Old Leigh. The new-look Trading Room Bar and Kitchen relaunches on Thursday 4th July, and the focus will be on the outstanding variety of drinks and fresh, homecooked food with our brand new menu.
The Trading Room will continue to champion the Southend music scene and bring you live music every week. They'll be acoustic music every Sunday and a band night every other week for the next 6 weeks. The Rapscallions will be with us this Saturday (6th July) with Megan Rose (7th July), The Hit List (27th July), The Essex Blues Brothers (10th August) and The Long Run (31st August) set to perform over the following weeks.

I have yet to be disappointed. The service is always great, the food is always lovely - I highly recommend the Sunday roast! Daily specials are available, and if nothing there satisfies you there is plenty on the regular menu to choose from.
Great place to go for a few drinks, friendly staff, reasonable prices and a great atmosphere... check out some great bands on the weekend.
We go to the Trading rooms regularly as it is local to home. Never had a bad meal there - good price, good quality food especially the Sunday roast at a very reasonable price. Staff always very friendly and helpful - the waitress even remembered what both my daughters like! and it has the added bonus of sport being shown on the big screens. A winner all round!
